Prof. Chitra Weddikkara

Chairperson

Prof. Chitra Weddikkara is the founding Chairperson of the Qserve Group of companies. She is qualified in the fields of Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Project Management, and Law with over 40 years of industry and academic exposure. She is an emeritus professor of building Economics and was the former Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Moratuwa and the Former President of the Institute of Architects (SLIA) and Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka (IQS.SL), Common Wealth Association of Surveying and Land Economy (CASLE). She is currently the Chairperson of PAQS (Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors), and also the incumbent Dean of the Colombo School of Construction Technology (CSCT Campus).

She is engaged as an Advisor/Member on Construction related Disputes in the SARRC Region. Being the holder of a Ph.D. in Law in the area of Dispute Resolution in the Construction Industry, she served in the advisory capacity of many Governmental boards, such as a member of the Procurement Commission under the Constitutional Council of Sri Lanka, member of the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA) to name a few.

Prof. Chitra Weddikkara is a prominent global personality in the field of Quantity Surveying. Qserve being the brainchild of Prof. Chitra Weddikkara, is an inspiration to the hundreds of staff placed globally under the Qserve brand serving in the profession.

Ch. QS Lalantha Amarasekera

Managing Director

Chartered Quantity Surveyor Mr. Lalantha Amarasekera has 30 years of experience in the industry and is qualified in the fields of Quantity Surveying and Project Management, and holds a Master of Science in Project Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Moratuwa Sri Lanka. He holds the Fellowships of three professional bodies, namely RICS, AIQS, and IQS.SL.

He was a former Secretary to the Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka (IQS.SL) and former board member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Qatar, and Secretary of the Regional Chapter of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS). Former board member of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. He is an Assessor, and chair of RICS and AIQS, and IQS.SL and has trained, counseled, and mentored as many as hundreds of professionals to obtain memberships in prestigious professional bodies.

Mr. Lalantha has held senior positions as Manager, Senior, and Chief Quantity Surveyor in large organizations whilst being responsible for many small, medium, and mega projects, both in Sri Lanka and abroad, prior to joining Qserve group in 2010 as the Director/General Manager to take over the Middle East operation. Over the years, the Qserve brand has expanded its global presence and footprint, becoming one of the most trusted and honorable Quantity Surveying firms in the industry.

Mr. Rajitha Dasanayake

Mr. Rajitha Dasanayake has over 30 years of experience in the industry and is qualified in the fields of Quantity Surveying and Project Management, holding a Bachelor of Science (Quantity Surveying) Honors Degree and a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. He is a member of various professional institutions in Sri Lanka and abroad, including the Royal Institutions of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), and the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Sri Lanka, (IQS.SL). He was a former Honorary Treasurer and the current Chairman of the membership affairs board (MAB) of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka. Mr. Dasanayake has extensive work experience in the Gulf Region, specifically in Qatar and UAE, an expert in the trade of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) related work. During his career, he has held many positions as Manager, Senior, and Chief Quantity Surveyor, both in Sri Lanka and the Middle East prior to joining the Qserve team in the year 2010, and his unlimited effort resulted in expanding its operation to the entire Gulf Region

Mr. Nishantha Hettiarachchi

Mr. Nishantha Hettiarachchi has 30 years of experience in the industry and is qualified in the fields of Quantity Surveying and Dispute & Claims Management, holding a Bachelor of Science (Quantity Surveying) Honors Degree from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Arbitration. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration in the UK. Mr. Hettiarachchi has extensive work experience in the Gulf Region, specifically in Dubai, UAE, specializing in contract management, settlements, disputes, and claims management. During his career, he has held many positions at different levels in various prestigious organizations, particularly in Dubai, UAE.

Mr. B Sameera V Perera

Country Manager

Mr. Sameera Perera has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry and is qualified in the fields of Quantity Surveying and Project Administration, holding a First Class Bachelor of Science (Quantity Surveying) Honors Degree from Sheffield Hallam University, UK, and he is a member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MAIQS). Mr. Sameera Perera has widespread work experience in the Gulf Region, specifically in Qatar, Sultanate of Oman and UAE (Dubai), specializing in both Pre-contract works and Post-contract works. He has held senior positions in various prestigious originations in Sri Lanka and the Middle East and delivered some iconic projects during his career.

Mr. Sanjeewa Dasanayake has 20 years of experience in the industry and is qualified in the field of Quantity Surveying, holding a Bachelor of Science (Quantity Surveying) Honors Degree from the University of Reading, UK. He is a member of a number of professional Institutions both in Sri Lanka and abroad including Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), Member of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Sri Lanka (AIQSSL), Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in the United Kingdom (MRICS), and Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb). Mr. Dasanayake has extensive work experience in the Gulf Region, specifically in UAE. During his career he has held many positions as Manager, Senior and Chief Quantity Surveyor, both in Sri Lanka and abroad.
